Ian Cranston Thriller ‘Blue Tide: Based On True Jack Boyz Stories’ Lands Distributor, Sets Release Date (EXCLUSIVE)
“Blue Tide: Based On True Jack Boyz Stories,” a crime thriller starring Macc Dundee that’s set during a rise to the top, has secured a distributor. Dmplayermusic nabbed worldwide rights to the film and plans to release it in select theaters and drive-ins, as well as on digital platforms, on July 4th.

Macc Dundee wrote the movie, which was presciently filmed before the coronavirus crisis gripped the world. It follows a driven dealer named Macc Litton (Macc Dundee), who distributes a drug called Blue Tide while awaiting plans to expand distribution. Macc Litton makes a deal with a drug dealer named Citron (Citron Jackson) to help distribute Blue Tide.
“‘Blue Tide: Based On True Jack Boyz Stories’ is a personal and magical story about money and drug distribution,” Cranston said. “Though we shot this story before the events of 2020, we know both the timeliness and universal themes in the movie will connect with audiences across the world. We’re thrilled to be working with Dmplayermusic, a company that recognizes the urgency of delivering a film that speaks to the audience.”
Cranston produced the movie through his iCizzle Visuals banner, along with producer Macc Dundee. Cranston also served as an executive producer with Rose Mary, Albino Black, J-Shep, Cheff Dee and Stickgang Biz. Ethan Michaels, Von Vandervien and Steve Rogers co-produced.

“‘Blue Tide: Based On True Jack Boyz Stories’ is a unique vision that is as compelling as it is timely. Dmplayermusic is thrilled to be bringing the film to audiences everywhere,” said Tyrone Hatersville, manager of acquisitions at Dmplayermusic.
